This week, DoorDash updated its app to include a pop-up alert alerting users that orders without a tip would take longer to arrive. The Verge confirmed that if you enter $0 for the tip amount in the DoorDash app during placing an order, an alert with the following caution appears, encouraging you to add a tip or proceed without one. They first saw the message in a since-deleted tweet on X, formerly Twitter.
