The latest 3.8 update for Genshin Impact is now available, and beta testing for the upcoming Fontaine update has begun. Sources with access to the beta servers have leaked gameplay footage of Freminet’s kit. Due to the fact that these leaks originate from the ongoing beta, anticipate some minor adjustments before his version 4.0 debut.

The footage provided the community with its first look at a Fontaine character’s in-game appearance. Combat animation has a substantial impact on a player’s desire to spend Primogems on summoning a character. From the most recent Genshin Impact leaks, this article details everything players need to know about Freminet.

Genshin Impact: Leaked gameplay footage showcases Freminet’s kit

Freminet is an upcoming 4-star character whose banners will appear in version 4.0. Recent official drip marketing introduced him as a Claymore-wielding Cryo character. Since his official introduction, Freminet’s character design has gained popularity and received overwhelmingly positive feedback.

Dim, a credible source for upcoming content and leaks, leaked game footage. Two unique idle animations created for Freminet are displayed above. On the left, players of Genshin Impact can see him winding the mechanism within Penguin, allowing it to rotate on Fremient’s palm.

The latter depicts Freminet wearing diving equipment and standing with his head slightly dipped due to the weight of the helmet.

ELEMENTAL SKILL: Pressurized Floe

When Freminet casts his Elemental Skill “Pressurized Floe” in Genshin Impact, he will execute an upward strike that deals Cryo DMG and enters Pers Time for 10 seconds. During this time, Elemental Skill attacks will deal pressure-shattering damage, similar to Alhaitham’s Chisel-Light mirrors, where the number of levels or stacks determines the type of attack executed.

ELEMENTAL BURST: Shadowhunter’s Ambush

Freminet’s Elemental Burst ‘Shadowhunter’s Ambush’ resets the cooldown on his Elemental Skill and puts him in Stalking mode when he casts it. The following bonuses are provided by the Stalking mode:

Increased interruption resistanceReduction of 70% in the rate of coolingNormal attacks will deal 200% more Cryo damage and add one additional stack of Pressure.

This 60-energy burst has a 10-second duration and a 20-second cooldown. Keep in mind that Freminet’s Genshin Impact burst ability requires him to remain on the field. Therefore, all of these buffs will be removed as soon as he leaves the zone. Overall, it is safe to say that he possesses the ability to play as an on-field driver or Sub-DPS.
