After an IDF raid on Jenin this week, a group of Arabic-speaking Israeli soldiers recorded themselves joking about supporting Jenin and the Palestinians.
Four men in IDF uniform can be seen in the video, laughing and speaking in Arabic as they say things like “God supports Jenin,” “God supports Palestine,” and “Israel can go to hell.” The video was posted online by one of the soldiers.
The soldiers are members of the Logistics Corp and filmed the video at a southern military base, according to Hebrew media.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement after the video went viral saying, “soldiers’ behavior contravenes IDF values, and they will be disciplined.
An investigation by the Military Police was subsequently reported to have begun following their arrest. However, they were let go not long after that.
