MrBeast surpasses Mark Zuckerberg in Threads followers as the app’s user base explodes.

As the number of Threads users continues to surge, YouTuber Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson surpassed Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg with 1 million followers.

Threads, Meta’s most recent social media application, was published on July 5, 2023, to widespread acclaim, and its popularity has since skyrocketed.


Threads has accumulated 30,000,000 users without a web interface at the time of writing.

Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson, a YouTube philanthropist, was one of the first on the site and has surpassed Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg as one of the first to attain 1 million followers.

In the hours following the launch of Threads, MrBeast and Mark Zuckerberg were neck-and-neck in their pursuit of one million followers on the app.

Threads surpassed 15 million users just 12 hours after launch, and shortly thereafter, the first one million follower accounts appeared on the platform.

MrBeast is among the first to achieve the coveted follower goal, surpassing Zuckerberg by a significant margin.

The time it took to write this article was all it took for Zuck to attain 1 million followers.

The fact that MrBeast beat him there, however, merely demonstrates his extensive internet presence. As MrBeast has over 165 million subscribers on YouTube, this is hardly surprising.
