NASA will host the annual Small Business Administration Scorecard event

Media are invited to join NASA and SBA leadership at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, July 18 at 9:30 a.m. EDT to discuss how well federal agencies accomplish their small business goals.
During the occasion hosted by NASA Administrator Bill Nelson and NASA Deputy Administrator Pam Melroy, Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman will reveal NASA’s rating on the Fiscal Year 2022 Small Business Federal Procurement Scorecard.
In attendance will be NASA’s Karla Smith Jackson, deputy chief acquisition officer and assistant administrator for procurement, and Glenn Delgado, associate administrator for the agency’s Office of Small Business Programs, as well as leaders of small businesses with which NASA collaborates. Following the press conference, Jackson and Delgado will be available for interviews.
The event will be held in the newly opened Earth Information Center in the Easy Lobby at NASA Headquarters, 300 E St. SW, Washington.
Media interested in covering the event must RSVP to Tiffani Clements at [email protected] at least two hours prior to the event’s start time. Space is restricted.
In previous years, the space agency’s work with small businesses, including historically underutilized, women-owned, and veteran-owned/service-disabled businesses, earned it a “A” rating from the SBA.
