Rise of the Ronin leaks appear on the Internet – Romance options, non-linear progression, skill trees, and more

Rise of the Ronin, an upcoming samurai action-adventure video game by Team Ninja, has been the subject of online leaks. These screenshots hint at a wide range of systems that players can expect from the Japanese developer’s take on the open-world genre. The reports originate from the “r/GamingLeaksAndRumours” subreddit on Reddit.
Rise of the Ronin is without a doubt one of the most intriguing titles announced during the September 2022 PlayStation State of Play. This game is anything but, despite coming from Team Ninja, a studio best known for its action RPGs that resemble souls.
Rise of the Ronin resembles Ghost of Tsushima and contemporary Ubisoft open-world games, according to the leaks. In addition, it will feature multiple difficulty settings and a non-linear progression system.

Team Ninja is renowned for creating some of the best action role-playing games, similar to Souls. The Nioh series, the Final Fantasy spin-off Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, and their most recent release, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, are among the finest and most difficult soul-like games available.
However, it has been confirmed that Rise of the Ronin is not a soul-like experience. It will instead be a traditional open-world game with Team Ninja’s flashy combat style. The game will feature a non-linear progression system similar to that of Ghost of Tsushima and Far Cry. It will also include optional side quests that players can undertake between main story missions.
According to the leaks, Rise of the Ronin will provide players with a variety of difficulty settings from the start. Additionally, the game will feature romance options, a first for any Team Ninja-developed game.
This open-world samurai game will, like previous Team Ninja titles, feature an extensive skills and techniques tree, indicating a robust and customizable combat system.
According to the leaks, PlayStation and Team Ninja intend to release the role-playing game in the first quarter of 2024. In line with the majority of PlayStation 5 exclusives, the game will include both fidelity and performance modes.
