Emery Pan, an Army veteran who served with the 82nd Airborne, discovered her talent for real estate investing during her military service. She left the military to pursue her dream of becoming a model and a full-time Twitch streamer.
To combat the feelings of helplessness that can accompany traumatic memories, Emery has built a community of veterans on Twitch through gaming.
Emery is aware of the difficulties faced by some veterans after their service ends. She prioritizes hiring veterans for her real estate rehab projects, and during the holidays, she opens her home to homeless veterans.
Emery captioned an Instagram post of herself with the words, “If you had told the dusty girl just trying to pay off her student loans on the left that the army would catapult her into her dream life she would have called you crazy,” alongside photos of herself in full military uniform with the 82nd Airborne and in much more relaxed garb on a ship in the tropics.
Without the support of my loved ones, I never would have made it this far. This is the third year I’ve organized a giveaway to cover the cost of sending a group of service members home for the holidays. It’s the least I can do to show my appreciation. Tag or share this post if you know a deserving active duty member who could use some assistance.
